Movie Review - Seven Pounds

Don't read any movie reviews and don't listen to anyone tell you any spoilers. Just go see this movie and take a box of tissues with you because you will need them.

The beginning is the end and within the first third of the movie you can kinda figure out how the ending comes to be, but you don't really know the why until the very end. And in the meantime, you are getting little bits of info here and there until the final scenes where it all comes together in a complete and satisfying ending.

You will be confused for at least the first half hour as you are trying to figure out why he's saying what he's saying and why he's doing what he's doing, but that's part of the fun of letting the mystery unravel slowly.

This movie yanks pretty hard at the heartstrings, but I am very confident that when you stick it out, by the end you will have thoroughly enjoyed both the story and the acting in Seven Pounds.

Please trust me when I tell you that this movie is best viewed when you know nothing about it beforehand. Would I steer you wrong?

No spoilers will be allowed to be posted because I want everyone to fully enjoy this one. This will easily be one of the most powerful movies you will ever see. Kudos to both Will Smith and Rosario Dawson for such great chemistry together and for some solid acting. And whoever played Inez in the beginning...such a heartbreaking scene, she should be nominated for best cameo or something. Just absolutely terrific!

Everything about this movie was great! The extra slow pacing is required to develop the relationships that are formed with all the characters and even though you know with the first scene what the ending is, you still need to take that journey with him to fully understand.

This is a long movie, so make sure when seeing it at the theater, that you take a potty break before you take your seat because if you miss even one minute, you could easily be lost.

Must-see movie!

Vixy :]
