Dr. Phil-wannabe, R.J. (Roscoe) Stevens has it pretty good. He has a successful talk show, a Survivor-winning fiancee with a rockin' body, and a wonderful son from a previous marriage. But it isn't until he visits his estranged relatives, and sees his life-long crush, that he realizes that all the money in the world can't bring you happiness if you don't have family values and if you are with the wrong person to share them with.
Best way I can describe this movie is it was a fun romp. There were happy moments and sad moments and the emotions didn't feel forced.
I did not realize the comedy would be as raunchy as it was, though, and a couple of the funny scenes were actually disturbing. I won't give away what they were, but they involved animals.
Of the newest comedies out now, go see this one first and chances are, you won't be disappointed.
