Father is Chief of Police, one son (Joe) is police lieutenant, other son (Bobby) is night club manager with a drug problem. Joe organizes a drug bust at Bobby's club which upsets quite a few of Bobby's regulars. No one except Bobby's girlfriend knows that he has family members who are cops. When Joe's life is put in danger by one of the drug dealers from the club, Bobby has to choose which side he's on.
Nothing to do with the story, but within the first five minutes of the movie, there is a sex scene that is SO incredibly hot, you would expect it to be in a porn movie....yet, they don't really show much skin. I don't want to spoil it for you, but you boys will be happy to get a tiny peek of Eva Mendes' goodies. (Man, what I would give to have a guy paw at ME the way that Joaquin was pawing at her. DAMN that was hot!) Hopefully the dvd will have an extended scene of that....(Not to disappoint too much, but I wouldn't be shocked to find out she had a body double for that scene.)
A bit slow in some parts, but all in all an excellent drama. I can easily see this as a movie you would want to watch over and over again.
